Gosht(beef/mutton/lamb) 1 kg haddi wala or you can have boneless too.
Onion 350gms(sliced) and 1 medium sliced thinly rounded shaped
Tomato 350gms(sliced only 4 pieces longitudinally)
Green chillies (karahi gosht wali)4-5
Bay leaves 2
Black cardamom 1-2
Green cardamom 2
Cinnamon stick 2-3
Long 1
Black pepper whole 3-4
Salt (as per taste)
Red chilli powder 2 Tsp
Dhania powder 1.5 tbsp full
Haldi 1 Tsp
Gg paste 2 tbsp
Garam masala powder 1.5 Tsp
Oil 1/2 cup( can add more if feel less)
yoghurt 1 cup beaten
coal smoke for dam

Fry onion till golden brown add gosht and fry it until gosht changes its color now add gg paste and fry again for 2mints, now add whole spices and fry again now add chilli powder dhanya powder haldi and salt and fry on gentle heat now add tomatoes and fry for 2mints, add required water and cook on gentle heat until beef got tender and water evaporates, now add whole spice powder and bhoonofy until the tomatoes and onion vanished and oil separates. Add required water to make the gravy thick and green chillies, make the stove closed, and add yoghurt and spread thinly sliced onion, give coal dam. You can also do yoghurt and onion garnish while pouring out in a dish, your yummy dhuan Gosht is ready to Serve 🙂


Pahari chatni
Take 10-12 green chillies 2 garlic cloves, half gaddi parsley, 3-4 walnuts, salt as per taste, take all these and Finley to grind them all in hawan dasta or sil. Now add the paste into 2-3 tbsp of yoghurt:-) your chatni is ready to serve

Note: chatni will be quite spicy, so take it thora as chatni
